BEfore you read this have you clicked the follow me button over there on the right?! Just checking :). you won’t want to miss anything over the next 6 months as we prepare for Baby #3.
Okay. I know I have until the end of June but it’s been over two years. I can’t remember what all I need or where what I had is. So I need to create a check list that I can update as I find stuff/add it to shower registry/buy it.
One of the hard things about all this is Lucas was transitioning out of some of it when we moved and just getting into others, I guess that’s why some is easier than others
Carseat – friend in Dallas has it (SHE NEVER USED IT … only used by me, FYI!! If it was safe for Lucas to use it the last time he did it’s safe for the baby.)carseat cover – I liked it when we bought it but the material is strange and sweaty feet made it look dirty — carseat we have it perfect patternswing – Dallas- bouncy – I think it’s in the attic
boppy- NO IDEA – on listTub – in garage- tub liner for itty bitty – NO IDEA but I love it so I hope I find it or a new one JUST like it
changing pad – in a closet – I saw it recently– will need new covers based on gender, I only have one
- breast pads/cream – on list
stroller- needs cleaned up in garage . I really hope things weren’t stacked on it/ruined it if they are we’ll budget one in at the last minute I really loved the one we had. VERY easy for me to push.carseat base for stroller – ???- Bed/dresser – in storage – will be painted
clothes if BOY – in boy’s closetclothes if Girl – ZIP, ZERO, NADA (okay that’s a lie, I have about 10 outfits from 0-12 months that I’ve purchased on clearance over the last decade)- exercauser – garage
- playmat – somewhere ???????
push behind walker (NOT SIT IN) – attic?????????boy bedding/room – mostly done (blanket FOUND, skirt ordered and bumper borrowed)girl bedding – not even closer

Congrats!!!
Nothing to add, my baby is 5 now. We couldn’t have lived without our cradle swing, MeiTai carrier and my Quinny Zapp.
I would cross off car seat cover though. After market covers void any warranty on your car seat. (I’m really car seat obsessed–we had a rollover accident in my convertible when the kids were 5 and 2, they walked away just fine, I had them both in 5 point seats, they still use 5 points now at ages 8 and 5, because my oldest is really tiny.)

I've never heard of those specific items. I'll look them up.
Thanks. 🙂

Diapers according to gender. And lots of em!
Also, about the car seat… they're improving them and making them safer all the time so I'd spring for a new one.

I don’t cloth. No desire. I like the cute covers but that’s as far as my interest goes.
We will CONSIDER new carseat.

I’ll research what’s changed since summer 08. I doubt much. : )

Congrats!!! I haven’t been able to visit in so long so I didn’t know you were pregnant! I am completely brain dead at the moment, but I’m sure I an think of something. I would say Babywise series. It helps putting your baby on a sleep schedule and has helped us out tremendously!

I totally agree. Both of our boys go to bed FLAWLESSLY 95% of the time and the other 5% they are sick or being a pain the in butt anyways :).
Sleep schedule and going to sleep on their own at a reasonable age is so criticial for us. 🙂
Thanks for stopping in.

I’ll email my list of favorite things, I’ve been compiling it.
If you do spring for a new stroller, I love our City Mini because it’s a one-handed fold/unfold. Don’t know about pushing it from your chair, though. I do know that at Buy Buy baby they will spend as much time with you as you desire answering questions and making recommendations. They are wonderful and knowledgeable. they are new in town since you last had a little one! I loved all the Lansinoh products, by the way. They’re on the list. I just wish my dog would quit eating the used breast pads!
I also just got a Woombie for swaddling, after using the Swaddle Designs blankets for a while. He finally got good at escaping the swaddle in those big blankets, and my MIL is terrible at swaddling with them, anyway. I love the Woombie. Going to buy a second for when the first is in the wash.
