I’m not usually a blog hopping linker upper but I might have to start doing it more often. Yeah, I know it’s about driving traffic to THAT blogger’s site and not mine, blah-blah.
Whatever.
I was stalking visiting an old message board journal buddy’s blog (did you catch that?! I haven’t “seen” this journal buddy in about 6-7 years and we were never super close (in fact she probably doesn’t REALLY remember me!) but I found her via a facebook group for us message board old timers!) and I saw Instafriday.
I thought it was awesome, so I decided I’d play.
I’ve been really lazy busy about actually updating this blog as I originally intended so this will be a fantastic way to make sure I actually do JUST that.
I hope to do it EVERY week.
OOOOH and make sure you come by on MONDAY – I will be starting my “How do you” video/vlog series.

I made these yummy, amazing things for dinner. Shhh, don’t tell ANYONE I cheated and just nuked them in the microwave!
So this thing was pretty cool. This was in the bathroom at GoodWill (Shh, don’t tell my Stylish Gimp readers that I shop there!) I’ve also seen it at the local library.
We are BACK in TaeKwonDo after a very long break and Lucas is finally old enough to play along! He got his VERY FIRST STRIPE on July 5th! He was SO proud. We called Daddy right away and sent him a picture and everyone was giving him cheers and high fives. They’ve all watched him “grow up”. We’ve been going to the same school since Lucas was younger than Nathan! Oh, and I just noticed his instructor in the background smiling!
We are on Green MOnster kick. You take any (healthy) smoothie and throw some spinach in to make it healthier. You barely taste the spinach. Really. I’m not lying. I HATE green food. But these?! Yum.
Fireworks at Pflugerville Lake. The day started off kinda rocky. We walked this long miserable way to one side and decided the other side was better so had to go ALL the way back and it was the packed gravel path so not very comfortable for rolling but we ran into some friends along the way and spent the rest of the afternoon with them. IT was worth it in the end :). Ok. Seriously horrible run-on, but it reflects the flustered feeling. Truly. Sorry, Dr. Past.
You saw this in yesterday’s post!
Will loves being a big brother. I’m so proud of how he handles Nathan. (and speaking of BIG BROTHER….any fans? Who’s watching next week?)
We are STILL nursing! He’s my little champ!
Mexican Martini. Did you read the post about Trudy’s?
Last weekend we got Will nad Charlie new Sperrys and Lucas got a pair of Lego Crocs (I’ll have ot get a picture of those for next week!)
LAte in the week, LAST week, Nathan got his first official pair of shoes. While we were at the mall this man said he hopes I have a speedy recovery and heal quickly. When I said I was just fine but hadn’t walked in 12 years he went on to tell me about this network TV whack job healer. That always cracks me up; of course he didn’t say he was a whack job. That would be … counter productive to his cause.
This is how I usually find WIll these days. Oh, the shame.
The boys played with THESE on Monday. They had loads of fun!
I think that is about my week in a nutshell….and not necessarily in any particular order.
ooooh and Momma got a new purse. Nathan kept digging in mine, so I’ve been searching and searching and searching finally found one. It promptly got mud on it at the Lake. Go Me. (The purse is leather, somost of it did come off, thankfully!)
