We are currently looking at bigger houses. It may or may not actually go anywhere but we are considering the possibility of spreading out a bit more.
This Saturday, we went and looked at a current house with a pool, it didn’t work so we moved on to new inventory and from there models.
We found some stuff we loved and by the end of the day felt drained and exhausted but wanted to round out the day and look at the first, very large house again.
We just left a pricier neighborhood that had models of what we wanted and the driveway was steep and blocked off from parking in it so Charlie had to help me in and out of the van.
We were almost home, or back to our neighborhood and headed to the first stop again.
We glanced in the back of the van and my chair wasn’t there.
No biggie, Charlie sometimes puts it in the back of the van instead of the middle.
Lucas looked and it was NOT.
We pulled up “Where is my iphone” and my chair, my purse, my phone and far more cash than anyone should EVER carry was sitting in the street in a neighborhood 10 miles away. I NEVER have cash on me but I had cashed an AmEx rewards check and hadn’t deposited it yet.
We immediately called sales rep for the builder and she said she was headed over there now and would bring my purse in as soon as she got there.
We got back and everything was in tact but I gave Charlie FAIR warning that he can’t leave my wheelchair behind without me blogging about it.
It’s one thing to leave a shoe and destroy my favorite pair.
It’s another thing to leave my ENTIRE chair on a strange street.

And of course what is the first thing that I think of? OMG, your house is beautiful and you’ve put in a ton of work on it and you’re thinking of moving???
Then I revisited that thought and was all, OMG your chair was left out on a public road and anything could have happened to it!!
Obviously I need coffee.
Seriously though, so glad everything turned out okay. 🙂

LOL – my husband left my wheelchair in s Home Depot lot. We didn’t notice that it wasn’t loaded in the RV until almost 30 minutes later . Total panic! We rushed back, no wheelchair! Fortunately one of the lot guys had stowed in safely inside and nothing was missing. Whewww…..
