This is a review. I was given the cookbook for free by Stonyfield. All opinions are truly my own.
I’m sure you’ve heard of Catherine McCord and her Weelicious – One family. One Meal. Cookbook? She also has a recipe site that is loaded with hundreds of kid friendly recipes.
If you have NOT heard about her you need to run to her site immediately. It’s perfect for mom’s with picky eaters and um … moms that ARE picky eaters. I’m not naming names but sometimes moms are picky too … (me…).
That being said, I was super excited when I found out she was publishing another book devoted to LUNCH.
Lunch is by far the most difficult meal of the day for me. I homeschool my oldest 2 and with a toddler running me into the ground it’s so easy to just pile everyone into the van and go to chick-fil-a. They know us by name there. I’m not even kidding.
A closet full of jeans that don’t fit can prove it so I need to go back to the basics and start eating at home. . . BUT, I can only eat so many turkey and cheese or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches before I want to scream.
That’s where Catherine’s new book is going to rescue me – I hope.
It can also rescue you.
Stonyfield not only graciously sent a book for ME to review but they are also going to send ONE book to ONE of my readers. Will it be you?

My current go-to lunch is celery and carrots with hummus. Or leftovers from the night before. And my kids each have their own favorites. 4 different lunches every day. Yay.
