This is all I have for you this week. It’s been one of THOSE weeks.
You know, where you attempt to dress presentably but you just never finished and your hair looked like crap and you looked like you hadn’t slept in weeks?
Yeah, that was my week.
I managed to have DS snap this one yesterday and I had little makeup on and my hair wasn’t even brushed.
Time change has been a nightmare.

Love your red pants. And yes, the time change is AWFUL. Add to that spring break and our sleep/wake schedule is so out of sorts. I think your hair looks cute like this!

I like red and black so I think this look works. If you had on blue jeans and a white T it would look less polished (still not bad). Plus, the messy pony or undone bun is in, so just tell ’em you meant to style it that way 😉

Since the time change, I been getting up later, so I know what you mean. I love your outfits. I like this blog because it spreads the message that disabled people can be attractive and stylish.

I love your style. I don’t know why some people expect women who use wheelchairs to look like frumps – I guess it’s part of the generally low expectations people have for us in all areas. I hate it when I’m in a rush and have no time for hair and makeup! (I try not to let that happen).
I read your list of fashion tips for wheelchair users. Agree – long shirts look bad on us and pants ride up. It can be difficult to find a flattering coat as well – one that does not make me look all bunched up – like one of those puffy coats. I like coats that are close fitting and short – yet still warm.
I love ballet flats! But I rarely wear them – how? They fall off my feet constantly. Even if I stay in the chair – forget about it if I have to do a transfer. My feet fall off the footrests all the time and so do shoes – except boots. Finding attractive shoes that stay on is a problem for me. Even flats with straps fall off a lot. I also have a foot swelling problem sometimes. I do wear heels occasionally if I don’t have to be moving around too much. They look nice. They have to have straps, though, or they won’t stay on even for a few minutes.
