Backyard Ocean Pools

We live in Texas, so having a pool is almost a must. This year Backyard Ocean Pools gifted my family with a pool in exchange for my honest review.

We picked this deluxe square pool!

The boys were so eager to get in, they hopped in before we started filling it!

My favorite part about the pool is the CLEAR sides!!! You can easily see your kids without being right on top of the pool or in it with them! I also really liked the bench. You can just sit and watch the kids without fully submerging yourself.

I’ll be honest. My oldest son (9) didn’t really care for it but he’s a swimmer. This is really just a “cool down” pool or for younger kids, like my 3 and 6 year old.

Set up was super easy! Charlie used the shop vac because we couldn’t find our air compressor and it went SO FAST! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS METHOD!! You must be very aware of when you need to stop. It was cool non the less!

The boys loved it. We plan to get much use out of it this summer!

I compared prices with bog box stores and Backyard Ocean seems to be a bit higher. However there were not any big box store that carried an exact pool (clear sides and bench) so keep in mind that you often get what you pay for in quality. While a better quality pool may cost more upfront, the likelihood of needing to replace it is greatly reduced, so you will spend less in the end!
