Good Monday Morning. I have a BRAND NEW Monday feature.
Instead of doing the usual “this what we plan to eat meal plan”, I’m going to do a “this is what we REALLY ate meal plan”. I think it will keep it real. You never really know if those bloggers REALLY ate what they say they planned to. Right?
Typically our oldest eats what we do and the two Littles get something similar but different.
Enjoy.
Sunday September 14th-Saturday September 20th
Breakfast:
Cereal, cereal bars and shakeology for mommy
Lunch:
Sandwiches & leftovers
Chickfila (on Monday)
Dinner:
Sunday: Chinese takeout (general tso and spicy sesame beef with refried rice, egg rolls, crab rangoons, wonton soup for Will & me and hot/spicy for Charlie) (It was a long tiring day of new house projects)
Monday: Swedish meatballs with gravy (from ikea), mashed potatoes (traditional-no recipe), Lingonberry jelly & chocolate cake. (Charlie’s bday)
Tuesday– shredded chicken tacos with black beans seasoned with taco seasoning and ranch powder. Served on flour tortillas made crispy in the oven.
Wednesday- Refried bean and cheese Chalupas and refried bean and cheese soft tacos. Cheese quesadillas for littles.
Thursday-semi homemade pizza. I used store bought crust (boboli) and whipped up a homemade pizza sauce with just tomato sauce and spices (Italian mix extra onion & extra garlic powder). For Lucas and Nathan I made a cheese pizza on white crust (Nathan rejected this after about two bites and wanted cold pepperoni slices) and for Will, Charlie and myself, I made pepperoni pizza on Wheat crust.
Friday– Chick-FIL-a. I has plans to cook but daddy had to work late so I decided we should keep it easy and not bother.
Saturday brunch– pancakes made with Kirby Lane premade mix (served with the maple syrup for the big people and the 2 littles used Hungry Jack) & bacon cooked in the oven.
Saturday dinner-spaghetti and store brand (H-E-B) Italian meatballs with homemade sauce and garlic toast. I made the homemade sauce exactly how I made the pizza sauce. It’s easy. It’s Cheap. It’s delicious. Really. (Unless you’re Italian and you are probably mocking me.)
Sunday lunch – 5 guys burgers and fries. Grandpa was in town and I forgot to plan anything. It’s not like I’m busy or anything. 🙂
Sunday dinner– chicken and cheese enchiladas with Trader Joe’s sauce and Goya refried beans. The 2 littles had cheese quesadillas.
