Happy Friday!!
||ONE||
There isn’t much going on in our household unless you count the day in and day out debate over the animal shelter and that’s not really “in the house”. It seems to be consuming a large majority of my online/facebook time. Standing up (err…sitting down) for your friends can be exhausting and it gets REALLY old but none of us are willing to back off and let the people we care about be called horrible names. (henchmen, puppets, easily manipulated, suit and tie wearing thugs, mouthpiece….the list goes on) This will all be over soon and we (hopefully) won’t have to worry about random people SLOWLY driving by, repeatedly, and announcing to EVERYONE on Facebook that we have a VOTE NO sign in our yard. Who knew becoming friends with a politician would be this “adventurous”? I don’t regret our friendship for a minute though!
||TWO||
Charlie and I have declared Sunday night to be our “date night”. I put that in quotes because we don’t plan to ACTUALLY go out. We will do at home dates. It’s cheaper on so many levels. No baby sitter. No tip. No gas. No tolls. I’ll update you in a few weeks with (most) of the dates we’ve had. There are so many ideas already on pinterest.
||THREE||
The boys brought home report cards and pictures. Will is do fantastic. I’m going to brag, because it’s MY BLOG and I can do whatever I want. He made all 95s and one 97. We are incredibly proud. Lucas is doing great, except for reading/writing, but we already knew where he was struggling and that’s largely why I wanted him to stay home but he really wanted to go.
||FOUR||
We are expecting more rain today. All day, and part of tomorrow too! Ugh! Tonight, I am planning to make Jell-O shots with a dear friend. Who knew certain neighborhoods handed these out to parents?! How awesome is that!? Hehehe. I am planning on Cherry Coke and She is making Key Lime Pie.
