Battlefield Vegas

We parked our camper at Circus, Circus during our stay in Vegas and I passed this place with a Sherman tank out front.

Of course, I had no idea it was a Sherman but when I told Charlie and Will about the cool military stuff. Will looked it up on Google Earth and discovered it was a place he really wanted to explore. You could shoot guns, climb on military equipment and crush a car. No we did not crush a car. This was insanely expensive.

I wanted to indulge him, because, why not?! However, I was there to visit my brother and Charlie was supposed to be working on a project. However, between the heat and restless kids, he was not getting much done.

The next two days Charlie and the boys came with us to the hospital, and by this time Will was desperate to go. We learned that the place was called BATTLEFIELD VEGAS  and there were so many things you could do. 

Unfortunately, You had to be at least 10 to do some of the best stuff, like shooting automatic rifles. This meant Charlie could not take the kids alone, someone would have to stay outside with the younger two.

Will was beyond excited he met the cut off.

We found out my brother was going to be sent home to wait until his surgery, Will used this as his chance to once again ask if he could go. I really didn’t want to go. I wanted to stay and visit with my family, and have wine.

Lucas really wanted to look at the tanks and other things outdoors.

The only way this would work was if my nephew (AKA my 4th son) went too. Now he’s not really my 4th son, he is REALLY just my nephew, but he looks like he could be my son. I also think he looks like Prince William. Not MY Prince William, THE Prince William.

Anyways here are some shots from their visit and an awesome video of my oldest shooting a M4 Carbine, converted to shoot .22. Oh, and he wasn’t the only 10 year old there. There was another kid shooting something too. Because, why not?!
