I’m missing really my boys today. They are really enjoying their time in public school (mostly!) but this post, written by a girl who was homeschooled, is really making me doubt our decision. We are trying desperately to find a routine that makes us all happy. This week is tae kwon do testing and the boys are not ready because we just have not been up for going to class in the evenings.

Will showed off his sword skills in a demo this weekend. Our city puts on a Pfamily pfun pFestival every year and local businesses are able to show off what some other students are doing. Will and three other kids did a synchronize sword form. I wish I could share the video but I don’t know who the parents, so I can’t get permission! BOO!

The boys had picture day this week and everyone is gearing up for our fall RoundUp (fundraising carnival).
Lucas forgot to turn in his money, so I guess we will have to wait until spring photos if we want to purchase.
I decided to take the lead on William’s class’s basket. We are doing a backyard barbecue theme basket. This should be fun. Would have to say baskets/silent auctions are my favorite part of the roundup.

This past Tuesday was national night out or NNO for Texas residents. I believe the rest of the country celebrates sometimes In July. It’s far far too hot to try to host an outside event that time of year. This is the second-year I have helped host, advertise and organize the one for our subdivision!

Traci and I co-hosted a Blab together. We would love to “see” you in the audience next week. Blab.im is sort of a google hangouts/periscope mash-up. I absolutely love it. Anyone can be a celebrity talk show host!! WE’d love it if you subscribed and joined us next week! You can check out our first show by subscribing to Traci.

Did you have a band on Tuesday? How fun! Will looks awesome with the sword. I know there are growing pains with the public school. Your kids know they’re loved and however you guys progress, you will find your way and they will be okay. You know I understand this struggle, though.
XOXO

Your National Night Out looks like a lot more fun than ours! Here in Philadelphia we have ours in July. For the last two years it was pouring rain and cold, which is extremely odd for July.
I watched the blab video and you all looked really cute but I couldn’t get the sound to work. I’m going to keep trying.
Have a great weekend!
