Monday:
I meet Michelle at the park and met some new friends (her friends). And I also went to the grocery store. Now I know why I’ve been using a Instacart for the last year.
Nathan was wearing real clothes before we left the house but he insisted on his new FAVORITE Paw Patrol jimmies for the park trip to see his “gul”.
Tuesday:
We didn’t do anything significant today other than go to taekwondo. I’m grateful for lazy days like these. I know they are few and far between and these are the days I will miss the most.
Wednesday:
Today was quite busy. I went to Michelle’s and hung out a bit. I wanted to play around with her Melaleuca products before deciding which essential oils to purchase.
I also went over to Shannon’s to make peppermint shot glasses (details coming soon). I also took Nathan down to the park to play for about an hour. William also had hyper!
Thursday:
Today I took Lucas lunch because he was sad I hadn’t come up to his school all year long! I can’t believe I completely forgot to do that at some point this semester! Bad mommy!
I went to get him new Star Wars jimmies for the Pajama party tomorrow in hopes of making up for being such a slacker mommy.
When the boys got home I went to Sue’s house to make butterscotch shot glasses (post coming soon). The peppermint ones turned out so well, we wanted to make a variety. I searched for cinnamon candies but didn’t find any. BOO!
We also ordered pizza and dug through shoes and jeans after her recent closet purge. Thanks you so much Sue!!
Friday:
This morning I went to the boys’ school for their end of year parties and we listened to the middle school band introduce the kids to instruments! The 5th graders will get the chance to try them out in January. I doubt William will have any interest. He’s not a fan of music. I left the house around 8:15 and didn’t get home till leave School until 11:45!
This afternoon we will head to the park and enjoy our break! I think Charlie’s last day of work for the year is on Tuesday or Wednesday!

It’s a grocery delivery service in Texas (and I believe California!?).
Thanks! I can see why that might be a good thing. Personally, I would miss the chance to see all the specials and interesting people at the grocery store.
Agreed….. but not with 3 kids in tow!! If I could go alone. YES, YES, YES!!
