Bridget from Tales from Me and the Husband just got back from Italy and she did a “taking stock” post. She does it quit often and I thought why not?!
Making: Swedish meatballs from scratch. Will had to pick a heritage recipe for a school assignment. My FIL is almost 100% Swedish so it was an easy pick. We couldn’t say open the bag from ikea so …. Will and I are going to make them from scratch.
Cooking: Um…. oops. See above!! (we are still eating Tacos WEEKLY!)
Drinking: I’m usually a RED wine girl but “my circle” introduced me to a Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. It is so good!
Reading: I just finished Britney King’s new novel, just released yesterday! Yes I got an advanced copy. I’ve also found a TON of new bloggers recently. That will be a post of it’s own.
Wanting: A long list of goodies from Lilly Pulitzer and CAbi. I have a pinterest wish list.
Looking: at my dirty floors. I hate to mop. I just leave tire tracks in it during the process.
Playing: Words with Friends. I think I have 6 or 7 games going.
Eating: like a 10 year old boy. I have the WORST habits ever. I’m working on them. Really. I am.
Wishing: for 100% peace with public school. I’m having my doubts this is best. They are doing great and loving it for the most part but …. is it best? really!?
Enjoying: The Walking Dead. We just started the series so HUSH IT. No spoilers.
Loving: my boys and the excitement they have everyday when they get home from school.
Hoping: that we have a smooth December. It’s always such a busy month.
Listening: Whatever is on the radio. Um… not sure?
Needing: cognac colored boots. The pair I have really needs to go into the trash but I love them so much. This pair is cute!?
Smelling: whatever I am burning in my scentsy burner at the moment?! um. I think it’s Baby Powder.
Feeling: Happy.
Wearing: My Lilly Pulitzer Red, White, Return blouse. Come back Wednesday to see!!

Re: Mopping – how often do you mop? Re: Wishing – you will find that the Public School experience will pay HUGE dividends in the long-term.

Why do you feel it will pay me huge dividends? If you knew our past experience and reason for homeschooling and the results, you likely wouldn’t say that.
