We had a three day weekend so this week’s wrap is on Tuesday!
Friday was my actual birthday and we had a pretty regular school day. I met my friend Michelle for a play date with the kids-it was a fun way to pass tge time.
When we got home I had flowers waiting for me from my father-in-law.
Friday night we went to eat at our Absolute Favorite Place: Kona Grill. they recently added a piña colada to the menu and it is absolutely fantastic. I’ve never had one so perfect!
Everyone consumed their favorite dishes and to celebrate we also had a lovely dessert showdown thanks to Scott!
Saturday:
Saturday I hung out with my friend Michelle and learned a little bit more about Melaleuca.com. She’s been talking to me a little bit about it here and there for several years. I think I might be switching my cleaning products over soon – slowly but surely, no set an dramatic switch over.
Saturday evening I had happy hour with my girls and then they let me into my not so surprise birthday party! My lovely husband did his very best to keep it from me but he gave away subtle hints and such all throughout the week.
I love the man but he is not a poker player!
Sunday:
Sunday was fairly lazy with a few errands and prep for Will’s birthday party. He turned 11 on December the 8th but due to many schedule conflicts we put his party off until this month!
Believe it or not but I did not get many pictures of his party. There ended up being about 12 boys and we took them for unlimited gameplay at our local laser tag and bowling place. And they run a school holiday special and you only pay $16 for four hours of unlimited fun. Laser tag is probably my husbands favorite. Now I think it’s Will’s favorite. Look at That crazy score!!
When Our time there was over we headed back for pizza and cake. The cake was cut with the sword, of course!
The boys were eager for free play outside after being cooped up indoors all morning!
They Jumped on the trampoline, they explored the Greenbelt, and I think they even shot a bow and arrow and BB guns (under adult supervision of course!).
We were rounded out the weekend with the lovely dinner at Maudie’s once everyone else went home.
Traci and I managed to fit a Goodwill trip in there somewhere… Because when we get together that’s our thing!! I Can’t wait for you to see all the goodies I got as a pair them with outfits throughout the year!
