Hey mom, it’s me.
I’m fine. The boys are sad spring break is over. I think we are all just ready for summer vacation. The last few weeks have been so hard on everyone. I miss you so much.
Cindy was able to get your ashes yesterday. She said my necklace is really pretty. I’m not sure if I can actually wear it but I wanted it anyways.
The weather? It was okay. It rained most of the week but We heated the pool and the kids were able to swim Friday-Sunday.
I know. Yeah, The bomber lived here, that’s crazy. Don’t worry, we are safe. The boys know not to touch random packages and I really don’t think it was random. Most of the actual bombings were south, which is weird.
Oh yeah, the trip wire one was a few streets from our Cap rock house. Actually it was close to the lady across the street’s daughter.
Yes, she died around the time Leon did. Cancer, too. Very sad.
Yeah the bomber was really young.
Sadly, his parents didn’t know. A reporter told them before the police could. Crazy. His poor mom. I can’t imagine.

They were a good 5-6 miles away. Actually he lived about half way between here and TKD. We drive by His street when we go.
They did Homeschool. Yes. A friend of a friend knew his mom but that’s as close as I get.

Charlie’s new job? Yes, he likes it so far. He’s pretty much doing the same thing.
He writes software, Mom. All the stuff that’s makes different computer programs work? He kinda does that.
Ha. You don’t have to remember. It’s hard enough to explain. Just tell people he types stuff and stuff magically works.

Well the neighborhood kids keep ringing the doorbell and Charlie just texted that he’s on his way so I should go.
Dinner. I think ravioli. It’s the only pasta the kids like. Yeah. They are crazy.
Oh hang on. I almost forgot. Will was invited to apply for NJHS!
Yes, he’s smart! Ha. We hope it will help with scholarships down the road.
