I’ve been promising to start a vlog series for quite some time now and I made a few “how do you…” videos last week. Are you ready?!
Ok.
How do you push a shopping cart or a stroller in your wheelchair?!
So, first off I’ll explain it to you.
I take a really BIG RC car, kinda like this:

and then I bungee cord it to the front of the shopping cart, and then I bungee cord my CHAIR to the cart and I hand one of my kids the remote.
Totally cool, right?!
Kidding!!!!!

I do appluad you on that. I was injured in 96 im a t6 mommy of 5 yr old twin boys. When they were smaller i used to attach the smaller basket to my wheelchair via briefcase holder on my chair( I would bungee cord it on so it wont fall off) and one would sit in my lap and one would ride in the cart and they would interchange during the trip but it didnt leave me room for much shopping. You make it look so easy but i still cant successfully push a cart without a baby 🙂
wow thanks for sharing, you make it look easy, nearly all the big shop here have wheelchair trolleys that are something like this – http://www.wanzl.com/110/En/Home/Products/Self-Service_Systems/Shopping_trolleys/Service_Trolleys/Shopping_trolleys_for_wheelchair_users.html having tried times to push a shopping trolley or my twin pushchair I am more than a little in awe of you.
