It’s that time of year again.
My oldest boys are in Cub Scouts and this year William advanced to Webelos II, which means he is getting closer to “Crossing Over” to Boy scouts. This is his last year, and he is officially transitioning to his “tans”. That means he will now be wearing a tan shirt and green shorts instead of the navy on navy that the younger boys wear.
Will did not want to take part in the paint ceremony but Nathan REALLY wanted to, so we let him.
Please ignore the picture quality. We were inside a dimly lit church. Oh, and what is up with our splotchy faces and black eyes?
Lucas advanced from a Tiger to a Wolf. That means that he is just moving along, making friends and participating in kinds of fun. I was a co-den leader again this year and I may or may not carry that title next year. We are undecided at the moment, but the boys will continue to meet in my home either way.
What an exciting time! You must be very proud!

I am very proud. They have both really committed to this.
As a wife of Eagle Scout, I know this is a big deal for your boys. Enjoy this journey alongside them.
