Thursday was Grandparents’ Day lunch at the school so my father-in-law came into town so he could eat with the boys. He is going to spend the rest of the week with us. Charlie was hoping to take off but he has to get his oil changed this morning and he has a project he needs to wrap up before they reorganize the teams.

The one and only Sassy Tweetress published my wrap-up post on her blog. If you missed her session, you can check out the hilights and big takeaways. I have to give a HUGE shout out and thank you to our talented photographer for the pictures she captured over the entire weekend. You did a fantastic job, Heather. Check out her blog.

My sweet friend Traci and her tweet girl spent the night on Tuesday. They were in town for The Little Mermaid production and I suggested they sleep here instead of getting a hotel. WIN-WIN. He had coffee, joined a VERY informative BLAB with fellow blog elevated attendees. We went to lunch and then went thrifting. Nathan begged me to take a picture of him hiding in the clothes. Why do kids like to do that!? Oh and my poor Lucas was so sad. I told him he would get to see Izzy during breakfast. I forgot just how early breakfast really is. Oops. He was VERY upset when he got home and she was gone.

Lucas was able to bring home the class “pet” for showing exemplary behavior! Way to go Lucas. Mommy is proud of you. He was so proud of this little cow. You should have seen his face and the excitement!

I don’t have a picture for this one but Will was given an assignment last Friday. Not big deal, right?! It was due on Monday. Again, no big deal. It was a minor research project on one of the original colonies. He was instructed to create a power point or a brochure convincing people why HIS colony was the best. He went to turn it in and no on else had yet. It wasn’t due until NEXT Monday. The kids are working on it during the week, in class. Oops. It took it as an opportunity to ask if she had any suggestions for improvement. Way to go, Will.

Didn’t know that poor Lucas was so sad. We will have to get those friends together soon. Loved spending our day with you.
Way to go Will on getting ahead on his project and showing such a great attitude!

My daughter’s kindergarten class has a Hershey’s Kiss that can come home with kids for their behavior. She’s been working hard so it will come home with her for a weekend!

It looks your week was very adventurous. I missed blog elevated, but it looks like it was a great event. I got to hang out with Bobby at Mixed. Turns out we live very close together.
