You’ve probably heard me mention something called neurofibromatosis or NF1, but you I probably don’t know what it is.
I didn’t found out about my NF1 until I was in my 20s. When I was growing up my doctor just always thought the ONE dermal neurofibroma I had (or bump) was a keloid.
Let’s fast forward to adulthood. I was paralyzed in a car wreck at 18. Married at 21. About 1 year later my doc noticed the 3 fibromas that formed on my leg at some point in my teen years, plus the 1 I always had on my stomach, plus all the cafe au lait spots.
He froze one off and sent it for testing. It came back as NF1.My spots have multiplied immensely after having my 3 boys. A little each time. It really, truly sucks.
As I’ve mentioned before, the 2 youngest boys have it. My oldest does not.
This doesn’t mean much, at least for now. They seem to have a very mild case. We could see possible changes as they hit puberty. I really hope not.

That doesn’t look good from that picture… hope it doesn’t get worst for any of them.

My brother and I met you at a campground in the Dallas area 6 years ago. We were attending a show and staying at the campground in our bright yellow company bus. When we spoke you commented that getting in the pool with your boys corroded your wheelchair. We gave you some of our Strikehold Marine product. Now our Australian Division is working with elderly and physically challenged people putting our product on their chairs and scooters so they can go to the beach without corrosion their equip.ent. I read your boys are grown now so best to you. Thought you might like to know experience with you is bearing good fruit. This is not a money jib for us but it may bring good publicity. Mostly we are pleased to help. Best regards, Bobby Williams, Force 5 Products.
